Burn Night Extravaganza at St Andrews Rooms - 2025

On Saturday 25th January, St. Andrew’s Lodge and Sandye Lodge held their annual joint Burns Night Supper at the Biggleswade Masonic Centre.

A packed house of around 90 people came together to celebrate the memory of the life and works of the renowned Bard, enjoying the traditional fayre of haggis with bashed neeps and tatties after witnessing the haggis being escorted around the dining room led by the piper, Matt Sale.

A fantastic raffle, a generous auction, a selection of several single malt whiskies, and the traditional “heads and tails” game meant that the evening raised just over £2000 for charity – a

superb effort by all.

Many thanks to Brian Watson and Bob Isaacson who were organising their 25th Burns Supper – what an amazing job they have done, and our grateful thanks go to them.

Keep your eye open for news of next year’s event which will be announced on the website – be sure to book early for a memorable evening!
