“They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn, At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them.”
St. Andrews Lodge marked Remembrance Sunday with the laying of a wreath at the Biggleswade cenotaph on behalf of the lodges that meet at the Biggleswade Masonic Centre.
The wreath was laid by the W. Master, Steve Williams and the W. Master of Sandye Lodge, Alan Humphries.
W. Bro. Ian Cobban and W. Bro. Bob Isaacson made up the delegation, which was severely restricted this year by the Covid 19 pandemic. We may not have been able to turn out in great numbers, but we were nonetheless extremely proud to honour the memory of all those who gave their lives for our freedom, as well as many fine Freemasons who have gone before us.
